Angelo Ashanti is a global gold has 21 operations on four continents.

The Anglo Ashanti company was formed after the High Court of Ghana approved the union of AngloGold and the Ashanti Goldfields Corporation on 26 April 2004.

The merger was announced on 16 May 2003 almost after a year. The transaction says that Ashanti shareholders received 0.29 conventional shares of AngloGold for every Ashanti share.

This company not only produces gold, but also uranium oxide, silver, and sulfuric acid as by products. But the main product of Anglo gold Ashanti is gold.

The Company has a combination of surface and underground mining operations in the African continent, Australia and the Americas as well as six deep-level mines and one surface operation in South Africa.

The highest company profits of  the Anglo Ashanti cooperation comes from the sale of gold and also silver, uranium and sulfuric acid.
The Company’s ore reserves totaled 75.6 million ounces in 31 December, 2011.

AngloGold Ashanti was accused of murders of trade union and community leaders who conflicted the company’s accomplishments in the region that was in 2008.

Berne declaration and Greenpeace named the company as the world’s Most Irresponsible Company, and that was in Switzerland.
