The trading session of gold opened at $1,390.50 and declined on USD gains to reach $1,383 then recovered on weaker equities to reach $1,393.50 and closed at $1,392. Gold prices gained 0.8% for the day, totaled an increase by 1.6% for the last 5-days.
The consolidation period continues, with a low at $1,339 from May 20 and a high at $1,414 from May 22.
Gold-silver ratio was at 61.92.
